After you have booked your event with the camp manager, you must submit a deposit and a signed Rental Terms/Conditions of Use Agreement to the Camp. You may send your payment to the camp or pay directly with credit card or Paypal through http://campbedford.com/.
Signed Rental Terms/Conditions of Use Agreement forms may be mailed to the camp or submitted in pdf format via email.

If the rental is for the entire camp, the deposit amount is $200. If only one of the camp facilities is rented, the deposit amount is $100. The deposit may be applied to the final bill if cleaning is complete and there are no damages. If the reservation is canceled less than 30 days before the event, the deposit will not be returned.
The mission of Bedford Camp and Conference Center is to provide a wooded setting for faith formation, spiritual renewal, community building, leadership development, strategic planning and mentoring. The Camp’s ministry of hospitality helps participants of all generations to foster a deeper faith, discern their spiritual gifts and build relationships. In all of these ways we seek to connect people with God’s abundance.
Lodge:
A lodge completed at Bedford Camp and Conference Center in 2002 has increased the opportunities for ministry through the camp. The old dining hall/lodge was only productive in fair weather since it is only heated from a stone fireplace. The 10,735 square feet retreat center at Camp Bedford was built on a bluff overlooking White River Valley. It is a two level building consisting of a lower level partially built into the side of a bluff, and an upper level with a 700 square foot deck attached.
Description of Facilities:
The grounds of Bedford Camp and Conference Center are covered with a canopy of mature hardwood trees and are located on a high area that overlooks the East Fork of White River. On the grounds you will find:

History:
What is presently called Bedford Camp and Conference Center was built as a community county club overlooking White River in 1914. It later became a YMCA camp called Camp Gunaquot until 1951, when the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indiana purchased the site. First Christian Church, Bedford, Indiana acquired the camp in 1972.
2020 Rental Rates (effective 01/01/2020)
RENTAL RATES
Rental rates are subject to the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement. Rates are listed on a per day fee (24 hours) unless otherwise noted. Campers/renters may choose to rent the entire Camp or the portion that meets their needs.
GENERAL RATE DISCIPLES/FCC
Entire Camp $550 $495
Includes: Overlook Lodge, Craft building, Cabins, Swimming Pool, and all outdoor amenities
Overlook Lodge $375 $340
Pool if renting facility or camping $100 $100
Pool if ONLY swimming $150 $150
Includes: Bathhouse - Pool is open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, weather dependent
Craft Building $125 $125
Cabins ONLY $ 15 per person/per night $ 15 per person/per night
Includes: Bathhouse, (air conditioners or electric space heaters available)
Receptions/Special Events $600 $600
OVERLOOK LODGE ONLY
Rental period from noon on the day before the event until midnight of the event date
Camp liaison is required from 2 hours before event through conclusion of event.
Camp liaison fee of $15 per hour is in addition to rental fee and is due and payable to the liaison at the conclusion of the event.
*Camp liaison fee may be waived for Bedford FCC members with prior approval
Discount of $50 may be available if kitchen is not to be used and is actually not used
Private Use fee $100 $100
If your group desires complete privacy at the camp without any camp staff or other groups present, you must pay a $100 privacy fee. Paying the privacy fee does not bar emergency entrance into the camp by camp staff as required.
Fees for Other Amenities
For a quote on possible use/fees for use of other Camp amenities, please contact the church office.
Mission Project/Work Day
Groups that are interested in Mission projects or scheduling a Work Day at the Camp should contact the Church office for possible projects. Discount rental rates may be available for groups that are primarily at the Camp for a Mission Project and may be waived for Work Days.
